dopaMINE is backendless. There are no accounts and no dopaMINE servers. Everything you log — your modules, streaks, usage summaries, settings, and journal — is stored on your device and, when iCloud is available, backed up to your private Apple account. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data, and we cannot access that backup.
Your recovery data lives on your phone and is backed up to your own private iCloud when that service is available. We have no access to it.
On iPhone, blocking uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. Apps and categories are handled by iOS using privacy-preserving tokens, so dopaMINE never sees which specific apps you select. Custom website domains you type are stored with your other recovery settings and may be included in your private iCloud backup.
dopaMINE Plus is processed by your device's app store. We never receive your card or payment details — only the purchase information the store provides to the app to determine whether Plus is active.
Reminders and milestone notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification content is sent to us or any third party.
If you export a backup, you choose where to save or share that file. Its protection then depends on the destination you select. Opening support, subscription, crisis, or legal links leaves dopaMINE and is subject to the destination's privacy practices.
Use You → Start over (clear everything) to clear dopaMINE data on the device and request deletion of its private iCloud app-data backup. Deleting the app removes local app data from that iPhone but should not be relied on to delete a private iCloud copy or cancel an App Store subscription.
dopaMINE is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
